Renowned Roman designer Alessandro Michele has been named the new Creative Director of Valentino, succeeding Pierpaolo Piccioli after his 25-year tenure. Formerly at the creative helm of Gucci, Michele brings a rich background of innovation and artistry to his new role. His debut collection for Valentino is set to premiere at the September Fashion Week, showcasing the Spring/Summer 2025 line.

Michele is celebrated for his daring, maximalist aesthetic that has captivated stars like Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Billie Eilish, and Harry Styles. Known for pushing fashion’s creative limits, he has collaborated with industry legends such as Karl Lagerfeld, Tom Ford, and Silvia Venturini Fendi.
