At the 30th Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans, the Mielle Organics ‘Beauty Con’ booth welcomed hair lovers into the dynamic world of the ‘Mielleverse.’ Founder Monique Rodriguez, a festival regular, returned with an even more captivating pop-up experience.
The booth offered tailored beauty advice and featured celebrity endorsements of Mielle Organics products. Throughout the weekend, Rodriguez, who made the leap from RN to CEO, turned heads with her fashion choices, including a black and white polka dot mini dress by Dolce & Gabbana and a bold fuchsia lace runway ensemble from Bronx & Banco.
Rapper and songwriter Lady London made an appearance and chatted with Fashion Bomb’s Sheek about her look. The New York artist wore a Dsquared choker, a top by African designer Kwame Adusei, and Rene Caovilla heels. Meanwhile, singer Letoya Luckett lit up the scene in a colorful Cynthia Rowley dress and transparent yellow pumps.
Echoing Luckett’s vibrant flair, Fashion Bomb CEO Claire Sulmers graced the Mielle booth in a nude sequined Staud dress, styled with her signature finger waves. She mingled with Luckett, Lance Gross, and other notable guests.
